NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION BUILDING STEPS

We are here to help guide you through the process of building a custom home.

Step 1 -Meet with the Builder

We will set up a meeting at your convenience to discuss your preferred location, desired budget, and any special features you are looking for in your new home. During this meeting, you will get to know the builder and be able to ask any questions that will help you understand the building process and gain a piece of mind.

Step 2 - Find a lot

During this step, we will narrow down your desired location. Whether you already have a lot or are interested in us helping you find the perfect lot. We can set up appointments to view available lots with one of preferred Realtors.

Step 3 - Meet Our Designer

Meet with one of our Designers to starting drawing your house plans. During this step, we will sit down with one of our professional Home Designers to create your new home plans.

Step 4 - Budget

Now that your plan has been customized, we will begin the selection process. We have a 10 page specification folder that includes our preferred vendors to help guide you through choosing all the details that will make the house your home. During this step, we will go over allowances and specific pricing to let you know the bottom line.

Step 5 - Sign new construction contract

Once we come to agreement on the above mentioned steps, we will sign paperwork and discuss estimated start dates. This will vary depending on municipality and zoning permits.

Step 6 - Let the Construction begin!

This is the most exciting time. Throughout this step, you will be able to watch your home being built from the ground up. You can call the builder if questions should arise or to schedule a walk thru at any time.

Step 7- Final walk through

In this last phase, we will meet to walk through your new home. We will give you a folder with homeowner manuals, manufacturer warranties, and other contact information should you need assistance in the future.
